8 detainees released in Anbar

ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Eight detainees were released in Anbar province after they had been cleared of all wrongdoing, a local police source said on Monday.

“Eight detainees have been released from al-Khalidiya prison after the completion of investigations,” a source from Anbar police told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
