4 civilians wounded in 3rd Baghdad blast Sunday

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Four civilians were wounded when a sticky improvised explosive device attached to a civilian vehicle went off in western Baghdad on Sunday, the third blast in the Iraqi capital today, police said.
“A sticky IED attached to a civilian vehicle exploded on Sunday (Feb. 8) near al-Ruwad intersection in al-Mansour neighborhood, western Baghdad, leaving four civilians wounded,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Security forces sealed off the scene as the wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source said.
Earlier on Sunday (Feb. 8), security sources said two civilians were wounded when an IED went off in al-Nahda area, central Baghdad. Later on, another IED went off in al-Qahira neighborhood, eastern Baghdad, leaving one civilian killed and 14 others wounded.
