Unknown corpse found in western Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Policemen on Tuesday found an unknown body in western Mosul city, a security source said.

“Policemen on Tuesday (Feb. 3) found an unidentified body in al-Thawra neighborhood in western Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The body of a 27-year-old man bore signs of gunshot wounds to the head, chest, and stomach,” he added.

He did not give further details.

Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
