Iraqi forces leave electoral centers in Hamdaniya

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi security forces on Tuesday departed all the electoral centers in al-Hamdaniya, Ninewa province, after the end of provincial election, according to the suburb’s deputy police chief.

“Today, Iraqi army and police forces departed their positions in al-Hamdaniya suburb’s polling centers,” Colonel Faris Ablahad told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The forces were deployed there before election day (Jan. 31) to protect polling centers and voters,” he added.
