30 nabbed in 24 hrs- BOC

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A total of 30 persons have been arrested in different parts of the Iraqi capital throughout the past 24 hours, an official spokesperson for Baghdad’s Operation Command (BOC) said on Tuesday.

“Security forces in Baghdad captured 30 wanted men, defused 25 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and freed one hostage,” Maj. Gen. Qassim Ata told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Four security personnel were wounded during the operations,” the official added.
