Unknown corpse found southeast of Arbil

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Sunday seized an unknown corpse in al-Kower town, southeast of Arbil, said a source from the province’s police.

“The corpse of a man in his twenties was discovered,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“It was found to the west of al-Kower district, after people from the area alerted authorities through phone calls,” he said.

“The body bore signs of gunshots,” he noted.

Arbil city lies 362 km northeast of Baghdad.
