Mosul blast leaves civilian killed, 2 wounded

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A civilian man was killed and two others wounded in a blast from an improvised explosive device in the city of Mosul on Saturday, a police source in Ninewa said.

“An IED went off near a police patrol in Bab al-Jadeed area, central Mosul, killing a civilian and wounding two others, including a policeman,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
