Depot found in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi army forces on Tuesday found a stockpile of ammunitions and defused a Katyusha rocket in Mosul city, a military source said.

“A force from the 2nd division of the Iraqi army found a depot in al-Sukar neighborhood in eastern Mosul after receiving intelligence information,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The depot contains three shells and five cylinders of TNT,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The forces also defused a Katyusha rocket, which was ready to be launched, in al-Muthanna region in eastern Mosul,” he added.

He did not add more details.
