22 people arrested in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi security forces arrested 22 persons during the past 24 hours in Baghdad and found amounts of weapons and ammunitions, the official spokesman for Baghdad’s operations command said.
“The forces arrested 20 wanted men and two suspected gunmen during the past 24 hours,” General Qassem Atta told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The forces also defused three bombs and found an amount of weapons and ammunitions, as well as releasing a kidnapped person,” he explained.
“Two Iraqi soldiers were wounded while on duty,” he noted.
