28 Katyusha rockets seized in Wassit

WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Policemen found 28 Katyusha rockets in south of Kut city, a security source said on Wednesday.
“Police forces seized 28 Katyusha rockets, which were hidden in a farm in Sheikh Saad district, south of Kut,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The operation was based on a tip,” he noted.
Kut, the capital of Wassit, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
