14 wanted men arrested in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Fourteen persons wanted on different criminal charges were arrested throughout Thi-Qar, said the media spokesperson for the province’s police department.

“The arrests took place during raid operations by police forces,” Major Nasser al-Majidi told Aswat al-Iraq.
He pointed out that the operations relied on intelligence tips.
Nassiriya, the capital city of Thi-Qar province, lies 380 km south of Baghdad.
