Those speaking about coups in Iraq illusionists – PM

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki on Saturday said that those who speak about coups taking place in Iraq are illusionists, according to a release issued by the council of ministers. “There are no coups in Iraq, and no one here thinks about them,” the release that was received by Aswat al-Iraq quoted al-Maliki as saying. “What happens here and there in some state institutions is due to some practices that do not meet the law, and investigations into them are currently underway according to legal measures,” he said.“We must work on reforming state institutions and laws,” he added.MH (P)/SR
