2 of the arrested officers involved in violence – source

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: An authorized source from Diala provincial council on Saturday said that two of the officers recently arrested by the Iraqi Interior Ministry are involved in “violent” acts in the province. “They have ties to armed groups, especially Al-Qaida in Iraq (AQI) Organization,” the source spoke to Aswat al-Iraq on condition of anonymity. He did not mention further details.Baaquba, the capital city of Diala province, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR
