Diala blast kills 4 Iraqi soldiers

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Four Iraqi servicemen on Tuesday were killed in a car bomb that targeted their patrol vehicle in northeastern Baaquba city.
“Today, a roadside car bomb detonated in al-Saadiya district near an Iraqi army patrol vehicle, killing four patrolmen,” a local police source told Aswat al-Iraq.
Diala province, a mix of Sunnis and Shiites, extends to the northeast of Baghdad as far as the Iranian border. Its capital is Baaquba, 57 km northeast of Baghdad. It covers an area of 17,685 square kilometers (6,828 sq mi).
