Mosul suicide bombing casualties up to 44

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: The death toll of Thursday’s suicide bombing attack in southern Mosul rose to four while the wounded were 40, a police source said on Friday morning.
“The casualties from the suicide car bomb explosion that targeted a police vehicle patrol in southern Mosul rose to four deaths and 40 wounded, including 18 policemen,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq.
A police source had said yesterday two civilians were killed, and 25 persons were wounded, in a second suicide bombing in Mosul city.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
