Gunmen wound child in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A child was injured on Tuesday during a shootout by gunmen in western Mosul, a police source said.

“Gunmen opened fire in al-Ureibi neighborhood in western Mosul, injuring a child near his house,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq.

“The 10-year-old child was injured on his right leg and was rushed to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.

Mosul, the capital of Ninewa province, is located 405 km north of Baghdad.
