30 wanted people arrested in al-Adheem

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Thirty wanted people, most of them suspected members of al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), were arrested on Tuesday in a security operation at al-Adheem district, 15 km north of Baaquba, said the commander of Diala emergency contingents.
“The operation was conducted by the Diala emergency police’s 2nd contingent,” Col. Faris al-Umairi told Aswat al-Iraq.
“Three large weapons caches were also seized during the operation,” he said.
Baaquba, the capital city of Diala province, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
