Eastern Baghdad blast kills, wounds 22

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Twenty two persons were killed or wounded on Wednesday evening in an explosion that ripped through eastern Baghdad, a police source said.

“This evening, an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a police patrol vehicle in front of a soda store in Falasteen St., eastern Baghdad, killing five persons and wounding 17 others, including three police personnel,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq.
