Body of policeman found in Kut

WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Policemen in Kut on Friday found the body of a policeman in the southern part of the city, a police source in Wassit province said.
“The body of a policeman showing signs of having been tortured and shot was found in the area of al-Hayakel, southern Kut,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq.
“The corpse was removed to the al-Zahraa Hospital morgue,” the source added.
Kut, the capital city of Wassit, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
