BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqiya bloc MP Mudh-hir al-Janabi stated today that a security force prevented him from entering the capital, Baghdad, upon instructions from the Commander-in-Chief's office.
In a statement by his office, he added that his bodyguards were prevented from entering Baghdad, which obliged him to hire a taxi to enter the capital.
Janabi is one of the MPs who try to pacify the crisis and a member in the Parliamentarian security and Defence Commission, as he stated.
"This action will increase political tension, which Premier Nouri al-Maliki will bear the responsibility", he pointed out.
These actions coincide with the arrest of finance minister's bodyguards for terrorist charges.
