Recommendation to put army and police out Fallujah, MP

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Parliamentary Committee on Fallujah incidents MP recommended putting the army and police forces out of Fallujah city and entrusting the duties to the local police forces.

In a report read to the parliament, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, MP Abdul Mehdi al-Khafaji, member of the committee, he called to compensate the people who were affected by the clashes.

The recommendations contained denouncing the attacks against the demonstrators and the army forces and the right of the people to sue both sides for damages.

The investigations proved that some intruders set fire in the vehicle of the chairman Anbar provincial council, as well as attempts to attack the army units that led to burning two military vehicles.

Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
