Iraq shouldnot interfere in Syrian events - Muqtada al-Sadr

BAGHDAD /Aswat al-Iraq: Shiite Sadrist Trend leader called not to interfere in Syrianevents, pointing that it is a country with sovereignty and dignity.
Muqtadaal-Sadr expressed his concern of the foreign intervention andinternationalization of this case.
On the otherhand, a Sadrist MP denied news of sending militias to Syria to suppress theprotests there, describing these accusations as aimed against the politicalprocess in Iraq.
In astatement issued by the Sadrist Political Authority, received by Aswatal-Iraq, al-Sadr hoped that "Syriawill remain an example of opposition and resistance against globalhegemony."
MP Jawsadal-Hasnawi denied the charges and news that Sadrist militias have been sent tosuppress the Syrian opposition.
He expressedfears that Syria will "erupt into a civil war."
