NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that unknown gunmen killed a soldier and university professor was hit in two separate incidents in south and east Mosul.

 

No details were given by the sources, as reported to Aswat al-Iraq.

 

Mosul, center of the province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.

 

It is one of the hot places in Iraq, where armed actions are committed against the security forces and civilians, alike.
