 Youth ministry denies boycotting Khaliji 21 tournaments

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Ministry of Youth denied today the news of boycotting Khaliji 21 tournaments due in Bahrain on 5 January, 2013.

Minister Jassim Mohammed Jaffar told Aswat al-Iraq that the ministry "intends to have a spectacular presentation during the tournaments".

He added that the ministry will attend the opening session and discuss matters to make Iraqi future holding a success.

Jaffar disclosed that a Gulf delegation will visit Basra Sports City during next February to acquaint them with the development of ending the project that will host the future Gulf sports activities.

Iraq will play with the second team; namely with Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

The first group comprised Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Emirates.
