THI QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Official sources disclosed that Thi Qar Criminal Court sentenced a Basra Qaeda Emir for capital punishment.

 

 

The convict acknowledged planning for the explosions made in the province against a hotel and the French Consulate, as the source added to Aswat al-Iraq.

 

 

The two attacks resulted in two killings and 7 injured.

 

 

Earlier, the court issued life imprisonment for two persons who were charged in the same case, which led to mass criticism in the province,

Nassiriya, center of the province, lies 365 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
