Turkish citizen busted while stealing prayers in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: A Turkish citizen was arrested on Thursday while stealing money that people submit as prayers at a mosque in Kirkuk, the Criminal Investigation Department said.
 
 
After receiving complaints from prayer-goers in some Kirkuk mosques, a suspect was arrested  at a mosque with 200,000 dinars in his possession," Colonel Othman Hama Abdullah told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
 
 
"The man holds Turkish nationality and confessed to stealing several prayers in Kirkuk mosques," he added, without giving more details.
