WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: A man cut his daughter's throat inside his house in the city of Kut, according to a security source.

 

 

"A father killed his daughter on Thursday when he cut her throat using a knife inside his house in al-Damouk neighborhood in central Kut," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

"The incident occurred as a result of a family dispute," he added.

 

 

"The body was sent to the al-Zahraa hospital's morgue," he said.

 

 

Kut, the capital of Wassit, is 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
