BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Quick Response Department (QRD) arrested on Monday two wanted men in accordance with Article IV Terrorism Law in Tikrit, according to official spokesperson of the interior ministry.

 

 

“Acting on intelligence information, the QRD arrested two wanted men in Tikrit, while policemen in Salah al-Din defused two bombs in north an south of the province,” Colonel Saad Maaen said.

 

 

“Another wanted man was arrested in Tikrit by policemen,” he added.

 

 

“Border guards in Anbar foiled a smuggling attempt after fierce clashes with armed smugglers coming from Syria,” he said.
