BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi housing minister Mohammed al-Daraji disclosed today that his ministry will build 20.000 housing units the next year.
During the Arab Housing Ministers' Conference, attended by Aswat al-Iraq, Daraji pointed out Iraqi need for more housing units to solve this crisis in the country.
He pointed out that "no housing projects for the poor and needy people were made since 1963, which is one of the reasons for housing crisis in Iraq".
