BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq's Parliament Speaker Usama al-Nujaifi discussed on Thursday with Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeifar ways of boosting bilateral relations in various domains.

 

 

"The meeting was held at al-Nujaifi's office, where the two tackled also the current crisis between Baghdad and Arbil and efforts exerted to defuse it," according to a statement released from his office received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

The Iranian diplomat valued the efforts made by al-Nujaifi to solve the crisis.
