BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Parliament held on Tuesday a regular session under Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi to vote on the provincial councils elections draft law and the 2013 budget, a media source said.
"The session was attended by 230 lawmakers after a delay by for one hour and 30 minutes due to the lack of quorum," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Today's agenda includes the vote on the fourth amendment of the provincial councils elections bill number 36 of 2008," he added.
"The session will witness also the first and second readings of several draft laws," the source noted.
