Diala Sahwa councils chief’s bodyguard killed

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: A bodyguard of the chief of Diala Sahwa councils was killed on Friday as a result of tribal disputes.
“One of my bodyguards was stabbed to death inside a checkpoint of Sahwa forces in Bahraz district, south of Baaquba, after a tribal dispute,” Khaled al-Lahiebi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“A Sahwa force arrested two suspects a few hours after the incident, one of them a former element of the al-Eishreen brigade,” he added.
Baaquba, the capital of Diala, is 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
