2 kidnapped, bomb blast in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: The Joint Coordination Bureau in Kirkuk announced today that two were kidnapped in different attempts, while a bomb exploded in front of two brothers who were both members in pro-government Sahwa (Awakening) forces, in southwest Kirkuk.
 
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that unknown armed men, wearing military attire, kidnapped a young man from in front of his house; a second man was kidnapped yesterday to the south of the city.
 
No other details were given.
 
In a separate incident, a bomb exploded in front of the residence of two brothers, both Sahwa members, 40 km to the southwest of Kirkuk.
 
Only material damages were reported , but no other details were given.
 
Kirkuk city lies 280 km northeast of the capital, Baghdad.
