BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqiya bloc MP Mudh-hir al-Janabi stressed here today that the governmental procedures for releasing detainees is "not enough, just to suck the anger of the demonstrators and wasting time".
He pointed out that the demonstrators wanted simple constitutional demand, stressing that they will "continue their demonstrations till all their demands are met".
Ministry of Justice announced today releasing ten female detainees, in addition to 13 released earlier.
Deputy Premier Hussein Shahristani, heading the special committee to discuss the demands of the demonstrators, announced last week that 335 detainees were released, including four women.
Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
