BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Turkish Anatolia news agency published a document on Iraqi foreign ministry approval for the landing of the Turkish energy minister in Arbil airport to participate in the second oil and gas conference before two days.

The Turkish embassy sent a note to the Iraqi foreign ministry on 3 December instant asking "urgently" the permission for the landing of the C-560 plane, provided it will be valid for 48 hours from the date of the take-off.

"In the same day, the foreign ministry approved the landing of the Turkish planes starting from 4 December", the news agency added.

The landing cancellation was taken by the Turkish authorities after the take off of the planes, which obliged it to land in Qaisary terminal in mid of Turkey.

The Turkish embassy had contacts with the Iraqi authorities, who were informed that "technical reasons" were for not landing in Arbil airport, as reported by the agency.
