The demonstrators demanded better services, early elections and termination of corruption.

No government official attended to receive the demands of the demonstrators.

The entry and exits of the demonstrators were organized, as the reported added.

He added that the demands of the demonstrators varied from group to another, some demanded toppling the present government for its failure to administer the security, services and political issues, while others only demanded provision of security, better services and ending corruption.

Chairman of the National Gathering of Southern and Middle Euphrates Tribes Sheik Farooq Mohammadawi told Aswat al-iraq that "we came to topple the government and reform the political system".
