BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zebari held on Friday talks with Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ways of boosting relations between Iraq and the OIC and the country's legal and financial commitments toward the organization.

 

"The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 39th session of OIC, which is being held in Djibouti under the slogan (Solidarity for Sustainable Development)," said a foreign minister statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

"The two discussed also the conference's political agenda and the latest developments on the region," it added.

 

The minister held also talks with several foreign ministers of the OIC and officials of the regional and international organizations participating in the conference.
