BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The head of the Health and Environment Department in Missan province reported that about 6000 mines victims were registered, with an expectation for this figure to increase.

 

Maytham al-Fartousi pointed out that there is a governmental program in place to assist the handicapped.

 

He expected that this figure would increase if comprehensive statistics were published.
