Arab Environment Ministers meet in Baghdad today
BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Ministry of Environment announced today the meetings of the Arab Environment Ministers started n Baghdad to discuss Environment issues and sustained development, as well as the functions of specialized agencies.
In a press statement, the ministry called for an emergency meeting to discuss matters pertaining to desertification, biological diversification, chemical materials and their remains.
It added that the conferees will discuss the Green Economy in the Arab countries, eradication of poverty and unemployment and food security.
