BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: At least one person was killed and seven more were wounded in a car bomb explosion in southeastern Baghdad, a police source said on Monday.

 

 

"A car crammed with explosives went off in al-Ubeidi region, southeastern Baghdad, killing one person and injuring seven," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

"Police carried the wounded to nearby hospitals for treatment," the source, who asked not to be named, added, without giving more details.
