BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Two Turkish Special Forces' units penetrated into Iraqi territories in the Kurdish region for five kilometer.
The penetration lasted for two days under the pretext of chasing the anti-Turkish PKK elements.
Turkish "Ikhlas" news agency reported that the units were searching for PKK elements and returned back to Turkey after completing their mission.
The operation is limited within the power given by the Turkish parliament, despite Iraqi opposition for such operations, while the Kurdish government kept silent.
