WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Security sources said today that one civilian was killed and three wounded in a bomb explosion north of Kut.

 

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the explosion took place near a public restaurant, 90 km north of Kut.

 

Precautionary measures were taken, but no further information was given.

 

Kut, center of the province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
