Two unknown corpses found west of Samarra

SALAH AL-DIN / Aswat al-Iraq: Army forces found on Friday twounknown bodies of in west of Samarra, according to a military source.

“A force from the 4th division of the Iraqi army found on Friday afternoonthe bodies of two unknown youths in al-Tharthar region, west of Samarra,” thesource told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The bodies bore signs of gunshot wounds to the head and chest,” headded, pointing out that the bodies were sent to the morgue in Tikrit.

Samarra is 45 km west of Tikrit, the capital of Salah al-Din whichlies 175 km north of Baghdad.
