No fear of arms deals, but apprehensions from mentalities, Barzani
ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish region President Masoud Barzani disclosed here today that "the Kurds formed the Iraqi army after 2003", pointing that "the Kurds do not fear arms deals, but have their apprehensions of the mentality that will control them".
In dialogue with Arab and foreign media organs working in the Kurdish region, he tackled a number of issues related Baghdad-Arbil relations and the developments in the disputed areas.
Barzani reviewed the reasons for the crisis since 2008, when first encounters took place with the Iraqi army, but Beishmarga forces preferred not to indulge in any confrontation.
