Anbar governor denies demanding forces to protect protestors from Baghdad

 ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Anbar governor Qassim al-Fahdawi denied today some media reports that he called Baghdad to send armed forces to protect Anbar cities and protestors.

Fahdawi told Aswat al-Iraq that the present forces in Anbar are capable of protecting the province and the demonstrators.

He added that "the security situation in the province is stable".

Ramadi, center of the province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
