DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: The Security Committee in Diala announced that a leading al-Qaeda member was killed during an attack north of Baaquba city.

 

The source, Muthanna al-Timimi, told Aswat al-Iraq that a leading al-Qaeda member was killed during his attack on a security force with

grenades.

 

The terrorist was wanted for killing tens of people, both security and civilians.

 

Baaquba lies 57 km north east of the capital, Baghdad.
