KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Preliminary toll of today's Kirkuk spontaneous explosions reached to 7 killings and wounding 25, security sources said here.

The sources added that the toll is liable to be increased.

The explosions were directed against police stations, worship sites, governmental and civil establishments, as reported by the sources.

The explosions were due to bombs and Katyousha rockets, with suspicions of using bombed cars.

The explosions took place during the visit of the Vatican minister Father Leonardo who is delivering a message of peace to the city that is composed of different religious and national entities.
