BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Premier Nouri al-Maliki discussed with ExxonMobil president Rex Tillerson the operations of the company in Iraq, stressing that the work of the company should be compatible with the Iraqi constitution.

Mr.
Tillerson expressed the keenness of his company to continue its work in Iraq and will take important decisions in future.

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, Maliki promised to solve all problems and hindrances that face oil companies working in Iraq.

Disputes occurred between Baghdad and ExxonMobil following the signature of the latter a contract with the Kurdish region without the approval of the central government, which regarded these contracts as "unconstitutional".
