Man kills his father in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A man killed his father on Friday over a family dispute in eastern Mosul, according to a police source.
“A man killed his father on Friday morning (March 11) when he hit him right over his head inside his house in al-Darkazla region, eastern Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, noting that family dispute stands behind the incident.
“Police forces are hunting down the killer, who fled the scene after the crime,” he added.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
