Gunmen kill, wound 3 soldiers in Falluja

ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Two soldiers were killed and one more was wounded in an armed attack in central Falluja on Thursday.
"An armed group attacked a joint checkpoint of police and army forces in al-Amal al-Shaabi street in al-Askari neighborhood, central Falluja, killing two soldiers and wounding another one, who was rushed to a hospital for treatment," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Security forces sealed off the whole region and started to search for the attackers," he added.
Falluja is 60 km west of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, which lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
